Pro and TestFlight
From build 2044, Pro is not activated automatically for TestFlight builds. To activate Pro features, “buy” Pro (you will NOT be charged). Within a minute or so, Pro should also be activated on any other devices that you are running RVCLB on. If this does not happen, please click Restore Purchases.
It’s easy to buy Pro on iPhone, iPad or Mac. You can either do it from Settings, or you can look for the orange Buy button. Again, you will not be charged when doing this on TestFlight builds, this is for testing purposes only.
Cloud syncing
Cloud syncing is done via Apple’s servers. The data goes from your device to Apple, and nowhere else. It never goes to any other server. I cannot see your data, nor can anyone else, it is entirely private and secure.
When making a change on one device, note that it can take a few seconds for the change to appear on another device. For example, if you add a Trip Log record on your iPhone, it will automatically sync to the Mac. In my testing, this usually takes about 10 seconds.
After TestFlight
When the app ships to the App Store, it will be a free download for all users on all platforms. Nearly all features are unlocked by default, and many users will not need a Pro subscription. Buying Pro gives you some additional features, including cloud syncing between devices, and supports the development of the app, but it is not necessary.
