New version dead in the water

Appears to be dead in the water, the laptop didn’t carry over the data I entered and saved or any documents, i updated the phone app, its completely dead, I can get it to sync at all anymore. I backed up phone data but there doesnt seem to be a copy of it :frowning:

WAIT there is hope on the horizon, on phone because I couldnt find the backup file I did a search for rvcare and it found the file on the computer and uploaded it. I just have to see if they sync between each other now

Hi @TdTravels There’s no need to restore from backup, I hadn’t pushed the database schema change for the new features to CloudKit in time, so it broke syncing temporarily. But your data was still in the cloud, nothing was lost.

Sorry about that. This happened because updates were set up to be released automatically once Apple approved them. The Mac version was approved first, unusually, and there was a delay before the iOS update was approved. In future, I have all updates set up to be released manually, not automatically - this means I can deploy any schema changes and roll out updates to all devices at exactly the same time.

Please wait for 4.0.10 which is imminent and will ensure this doesn’t happen again - it also has a much more robust automatic backup feature. Thanks for your patience!

WheeeW! lol, so till then there will be no syncing? So since i am leaving for 6 days today and i wanted to use the checklists (which I love!) I put a couple of my checklists back in on the phone, will it use that if i dont do anymore on the laptop till the new version?
